Cinema 4D work 23/02/12

Creating my E4 Ident, making many assets and more than enough interior design. although only 10 seconds the most of the animation is previewed and can be seen, so none of the assets I have created will be wasted.
The Video I have included is my first test render, when I complete the assets and included everything I needed in the short time. The next few renders that I will do, will gradually show my progression and slight or major changes may interpret what my final animation is going to look like.

The character detail
the elevations of this character.

Making of the character
Drawing up the front and top view for my character seems harder than I expected, getting the measurements and things correct don't match up, they look obscure, but they can only be changed slightly unless i change my whole character.

Time plan for my model and Digital Skills
Creating a hand in cinema 4D not eh easiest of things to do, but using the knife tool and extrude tool, cutting slight shapes out the cube it self, to then make extremities on the cubes faces. extruding more and more makes the cube seem like it has fingers coming from it.

This is my coloured draft of my dinosaur/lizard drawing. using the live paint tool, its like a fill bucket but it only colours the highlighted pieces.

Using illustrator is one of the most difficult software to use, the pen tool in particular is a very temperamental tool. after 20 minutes I slightly got better at it.

Also making my own brush, all I did was create a primitive shape in illustrator with a filled in colour, the dragged it under the brush types, then chose art brush. this made my brush type more for the drawing.
